Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)
After injecting a small amount of local anesthestic, with the patient completely awake, a specially crafted small tool with a diameter of 1 mm or less is used to extract the hairs one by one from the donor area. After the extraction, the doctor will then transplant hairs in the needy areas. The implanted hairs will grow naturally and permanently, and no special care is needed for such hairs. The small wound over the donor area will gradually recover and shrink, leaving very inconspicuous scars.
